Zon Sonus Robert Trujillo Signature Model

  2. To be honest...thats one of the most boring looking Zons i ever seen. I hope it has other tops as an option.
    Im not saying that its ugly...i just find it lacks something.

    There are a hell of alot more interesting Zons on Bass Central than that one.

    well the one rob actually plays is painted flat black with a clowns face painted over top of that. i cant find a pic, but i did see one in a bass mag not to long ago. hoenstly it makes me sick looking at it. but im sure it sounds great.

    Yeah i've seen that photo on the zon website, terrible what he did to that Zon, it makes me sick too.

    Zon needs to update it's website. It has Jason Newsted playing for Metallica. Not that it really matters, I guess.

    I can't really think of any bass less special than a Zon with a wood neck :scowl:
  11. I kind of agree but it probably had to be done to tame the tone of the EMGs. I'd imagine the EMGs and graphite neck might be a bit on the "bright" side. And, the RT basses list for about a kilo buck less then a comparable Sonus.
