Zon Sonus RT-5...maybe with Lane Poors/Aguilar?

    Hey guys,

    I have a Zon Sonus RT-5 that I picked up recently to try out. It's cool, but I'm not a J-pickup person. I'll post some pictures later.

    Specs:
    - 5 string with 17mm spacing
    - chrome hardware
    - maple body/quilted maple top, trans black
    - maple neck, rosewood fretboard (with dots)
    - two J pickups, 3-band preamp

    It has some belt-buckle marks on the back.

    Comes with a Zon hardcase...one of the coolest hardcases I've ever come across, actually, with the most gnarly heavy-duty latches I've ever seen. I'd keep the hardcase for my other Sonus 5 if I ever used hardcases.

    I'm asking $600 + half shipping, firm. No trades, please.

    If you'd like, I'd be happy to install an Aguilar OBP-1 in it for another $100 (preamp included in that price).

    For another $400, I can throw in a set of NOS Lane Poor 5-string J pickups. Brand new, in box, never used, so I'd be happy to install them in this for a seriously hot rodded Sonus. I'd keep it myself to do it, but I'm just not a J-pickup guy.

    Weight? Not sure- I'd guess about 9.5-10.0lbs. Not super light (it's a maple body, after all), but not really heavy either.

    Scale length is 34".

    If I buy this bass could you "accidentally" put the fretless 4-string Manring Sonus in the case before you ship? :bag:
