I have a Zoom B1 that is acting crazy.
it switches patches on it's own, the numbers on the display are flashing real fast and it's not responding to nay commands.
I've had in the past the 506 and the 506II or whatever the older models were...
do these pedals have a "life-expectancy"? ... and then they go bad?
i can't think of anything that could have affected these pedals...
is there anything I can do myself?
    thanks in advance.

Have you tried both power supply and batteries?
Maybe it'll act differently on either one.
    Worth a try!

My old 506II was doing similar things last year and I think from memory it ended up being the power supply playing up. I bought a new one off fleaBay for about $10 and it was fine thereafter.

(My best advice would be to sell it and buy a B3! ;) You won't believe how much better they are. )
