    Hey fellow Zoomers,

Question for you. I’ll cut right to it. Is there a way to set an internal clean blend for use with effects? I know some of the effects have a clean blend built in, like the overdrives. But specifically, I wanted to use a clean blend with the ROSS Comp. I really like what it adds to my tone, but I lose a bit too much attack, so I thought blending in some clean might help. But I’m not sure if that’s an option. Is there a way to do that with the line select effect or something? Something apart from using an actual external Boss Ls-2, since I use the Zoom as my whole amp sim currently, and don’t want to blend in the WHOLE thing. Just the compressor. Otherwise, the option is to use a different compressor model with a high attack setting. Which is also very passable.

    Thanks

Yeah, not possible with these Zoom multistomps. Each effect is either first, next or last in a chain and the amount of ‘clean’ sound you may or may not be able to mix in is determined by virtual knobs in the individual effects. If a blend isn’t there you are out of luck.

Hmmm... It's been a long while since I used my MS-60B (been in storage for a while now), but I suddenly remembered it had this:

I wonder if this does what you want...

It does not. Putting the Line Selector patch simply turns on, or off, all effects placed after it.

I'm not sure if the MS-60b can do it, but the B3 has a dry blend on the 'total' button for each individual patch.
