Zoom ms-70cdr and Tonelib App

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by LaklandLaksNADA, Jun 22, 2019.

  1. Anyone able to get the tonelib app to work with their android phone / tablet? I can't get it to pair with my galaxy tab S or note 8.

    TIA

Yeah, they've been busy over at tonelib.net .

    Now supported:
    Windows (32 and 64 bit)
    OS X 64 bit
    Linux 64 bit (experimental)
    Android (with USB host port)

  5. Unless there's something I'm completely missing in the setup, I cannot get it to work for Android.

USB host enabled. Recognizes the pedal in other apps. Cannot get the tonelib app to recognize it.

If you have an OTG cable adapter, then I'm out of ideas. Perhaps your query at the Tonelib forum will yield better results.

EDIT: You could try the host mode diagnostics at the link in my earlier message to see if it gives you any clues as to the problem.

  7. that's the weird part. i'm using the OTG cable adapter (and a separate OTG cable to troubleshoot) and it all recognizes that my device is OTG capable, recognizes the zoom pedal in the diagnostic apps, but tonelib just won't do it. I've put it up in the tonelib forums as well as emailed support and it's been silence on that front.
