Zvex Woolly Mammoth Vexter Series

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Walter Folly, Jan 29, 2016.

  1. See what arrived today!

Can't compare it to the handcrafted/handpainted mammoth but so far I'm impressed! It sounds full and has tons of low-end. The finish seems to be high quality too. It will definitely take the spot from my duality. Sorry Doug.

Glad they are finally making a non-painted one.

I don't like mean people or mean comments....
About two weeks ago I got a new, painted, mammoth on a deal I could not pass up. Have to say it has gotten a lot of use. Really dig the gated sounds!
  5. Lots of people say the mammoth is kind of extreme but I find it so much more manageable than my duality. I just came from rehearsal and it sat exceptionally well in the mix.

So glad zvex made it a vexter. 410€ (regular wm) or 535€ (wm7) was the real deal breaker for me.
  6. IMHO, the WM is one of greatest bass fuzzes, even being a "gated" one.
i´m saving some money to buy the wm7, because this pedal should be extremely versatile.
