I want one...BAD.
Then go get yerself one already....
yea...i'm working on that. I'm agonizing over the price $300 is alot of loot for a pedal. But so far its the most impressive bass fuzz I've heard.
I've seen them for much less. Like @ 220 bucks. Used less, if you can find one.
believe me, im on the lookout
Me too (sigh). ...but I sometimes manage to forget about it for short periods.
Well - I guess it's back to sleepless nights again.
Why? Why did you do this to me?
ha ha ha...sorry.
i happen to know teh seller. so i know its in PERFECT condition.
I sent you a pm...
Heres a good deal
Are these people on angel dust?
Until you've tried one with your rig, I'd recommend holding off - I was bitterly disappointed with mine and went back to the RAT (albeit keeley modded!)
I don't think my pm's are reaching you ( there not showing up in my sent items), can you instant message me?
You need to check a box below the message to save a copy of the PM in your sent items folder.
oh...i see. thank you
that audiozone price if $629, i think, is in new zealand dollars. otherwise yes someone is in daydream land.
i think your right about new zealand dollars...I didnt realize where they were. lol.
I am now the proud owner of a Woolly Mammoth. This is my first zvex effect, and it is by far the best bass fuzz I have ever heard.
I spotted the elusive beast at a local shop yesterday. Upon plugging the pedal into an svt w/ a 4x10 cab, my face melted, my brain boiled, and red stiff hair grew out of my hands...I can only attribute this to the beast's devestating sonic super powers.
This pedal is insane. There are so many sounds available. After bring it it home and playing with it for an hour I found 2 settings i really like:
anybody have other suggestions for settings?
Also, Some of the sounds that come out of this thing are so crazy, it sounds like my speakers being shredded. I am afraid to turn the output up too high. Has anyone ever heard of someone messing up their rig with this pedal?
anyone else have one of these?
Here's a question, how does the wooly mammoth compare with the big muff?
I was looking at a muff as a low cost alternative to the mammoth. It is a good fuzz pedal. But to compare the two I would say the muff is like light beer and the Mammoth is like Jack Daniels. The muff can be tamed, you can adjust it to get a subtle fuzz out of it. The Mammoth seems to be a raging beast at all times. I have yet to figure out how, if at all, it can be tamed.
