Advice on new medium sized rig
  • Alright folks! I'm trying to decide on a Setup for a medium sized rig, for weekly gigging small bars and clubs. I have two rigs right now. I have an SWR 350x pushing a SWR Goliath III 2x10 cab. That's pretty much exclusively my practice rig....just not enough for loud bars. My pro rig is an Ampeg Heritage SVT pushing a Heritage 8x10. I do play some medium sized venues occasionally, and to me, there's no TRUE substitute for the Ampeg. So, I'm weighing the options tonally and practically between buying an Ampeg 4x10 and using my SVT, or getting a Mark Bass(or other) 2x10(or other) combo. We always record shows, and run the bass through the front of house. Whatcha think?
