What do you think are the most elegant basses in the world? I think alembic stanley clarke basses are pretty elegant: Let me know what you think!
Damn! I was searching for a cool picture of a Zon sonus to post it. You beat me to it! But I was going to add that the really elegant one for me is the four string version because of the simmetry on that super-cool headstock: The five string version isn't symmetrical and the six stringer looks so crowded. The 4-string is simply perfect.
Some like Tuxedos... Some others like more modern looks... Some prefer classic elegance or the attention to details Last two are mine... I might actually sell the 6 string...
You know what's really sick, I just saw a 75 Alembic Series one short scale (basically the Stanly Clarke Bass) go for 1500 on my local craigs list. Being poor sucks, you miss out on all the good deals.
Yeah--that Stanley Clarke Alembic is definitely elegant. I want it sooooo much. Will anyone please acquire it and give it to me? Please? Cmon, double please?????
I agree that the Stanley Clarke signature is pretty elegant... even with the more crowded Series II electronics... like in this pic
How has no one suggested ritter royals. They're the most expensive, most perfect and most elegant basses out there IMO. Check out this one: And the Floral Aurum (is the most expensive bass at 100,000 dollars according to most-expensive.net)
