EDITED TO ADD: Since listing this bass, I have procured period correct pickup cover and thumb rest. All will be included with the sale. See the last post for photos!!! PRICE REDUCTION: $1950 SHIPPED!!! Up for sale or trade is a beautiful 1975 Fender Precision. This bass has been played over the year and has just the right amount of mojo. All electronics appear to work perfectly and look original to me. Currently strung with Thomastik flats and setup to 4/64ths on the G and 6/64th on the E at the 12th fret. Sounds fantastic and plays like a dream. Comes with original case in good condition. I do not have the pickup cover or thumb rest. Here's the best part: This baby weighs 8.97 lbs on my scale with the bridge cover installed. Thats really light for a mid 70s Fender. Please review the pictures carefully, they tell the story on condition. I am happy to take any other pictures requested by serious buyers. The bass looks to have the original frets and they are in decent condition, with predictable player wear. The tuners are a bit tight, but function perfectly. Truss rod has been adjusted and seems to move freely. I have a recording of this bass I can email to any serious buyer. Shipping: Shipping via UPS ground insured for full purchase price. Awesome birth year bass for me as well, and I love Walnut and Mocha. Really tempting. Do you have pics of the truss and neck stamp area?
My main bass is just like this this one - same year, color, maple neck, the works, except mine does have the pu cover. I'm crazy about mine. GLWTS!
That Bass is in fantastic shape for it's age. I own the same bass, same year and it has a lot more wear. This is a great deal for someone that wants that vintage P thang. Good luck. Great Bass!
No way you'd make a huge discount for the bass to stay in Tennessee? Lol. I wish I had the scratch to get something like that.
As mentioned above, period correct pickup cover and thumb rest included. Complete bass for a steal!!!
