Capitalizing song titles & artist's names is just too difficult.

It seems to be the trend nowadays with young people.
I see run-on sentences of song titles mixed with artists names & it's a word jumble w/o capitalization, punctuation or quotes.

Me: "Poison Heart" - Ramones, "Iron Man" - Black Sabbath

average young'un: poison heart ramones iron man black sabbath

Should be: poisn hrt rmoans irn mn blk sbbth.

    Lazy gits.

Avenged Sevenfold has became AX7, or ax7.
I have no idea how that came to be.

If you throw in the word "sick" every chance you get, I think you get "teen credits" or something.

A lot of typing nowadays is done with thumbs only. So if you're on an actual keyboard you have an 8 finger advantage.

Is the CAPS key more difficult to hit with a thumb than with a finger?

Nope. It's just laziness and a lack of self respect. As far as I'm concerned (notice how I spelled all that out instead of typing AFAIC?), if someone actually makes the effort to appear uneducated or illiterate, I'll indulge their wishes and treat them as such.

We are teaching our kids to spell and punctuate correctly. I bet when they communicate with other kids they will get trendy though. This is exactly like people complaining about the lost art of letter writing because of the telephone. I guess I am also old enough that I think it makes you look stupid when you can't spell or punctuate. I don't mind common abbreviations. I even enjoy making them up. BWTHDIK.

I'm 24 and trying hard to distance myself from those kids. Time won't let me. That's when I play my jazz and everyone asks me if I'm "50 or sumthin".

To further illustrate how much I dislike the majority of my generation, I make sure not to speak as they do. Dance as they do. Dress as they do.

I'm not a gangsta, much prefer a formal dance to all these DJ A**holes, oversized/skinny jeans aren't my thing, and I make damn sure to present myself the way Dad taught me, because just about everyone judges and will treat you accordingly.

On a gig in '90 someone remarked of our drummer 'you can always tell those old timers by the way they setup their kit'. The guy saying it had to be 50. My friend was 19.

It makes more sense if you get the abbreviation right, it's A7X.

I came in here to say not only should you capitalize them but as shorter works you should put the titles in quotations. I see your grammar license is still valid, however, so carry on.
