Gibson 2013 EB on clearance at Musician's Friend

I saw that.... it says they are like 65 % off

 

Man, that's tempting. I've never been a big fan of Gibson basses, but that looks intriguing. I like the idea of the dual humbuckers and the 34" scale at a reasonable price.

I'd probably give it a go if I knew I could sell off one of my Jazzes. But I just don't feel like putting myself through the overall hassle of doing it. But I'd love to see a review if any of you decide to jump on this!

Natural model at Guitar Center is $699 and an additional 15% July 4th discount. Pretty nice!

 

Yesterday, they had the Natural and the Fireburst showing at $699.00; the Black showing at $799.00; and the Cream for $999.00. I forgot all about the 15% off. That's a great deal, especially on the ones showing $699.00. Here's my Cream model (it looks a little "whiter" in this pic than in real life. It's cream-colored, although not yellow like Fender's Vintage White.):
