Looking for your fix of bass goodness? Look no more. The London Bass Guitar Show, sponsored by Bass Guitar Magazine, returns on 1-2 March 2014 with a stellar cast of bass players and exhibitors, upping the ante on the previous years' events by bringing you amazing performances and gear exhibitions from all areas of the bass world. Held at London's prestigious Olympia venue in Kensington, the LBGS offers a huge exhibition area where visitors are encouraged to get their hands on the coolest and newest basses, amps, effects and accessories, plus two stages for live shows and Masterclasses.

Although we're still signing up artists, we can reveal that Frank Bello of Anthrax, Roger Glover of Deep Purple, funkmaster general Freekbass, Colin Edwin of Porcupine Tree and Lorenzo Feliciati from Naked Truth will be playing at the LBGS. When it comes to rock, it doesn't get more classic than Deep Purple, of course, with Roger's instantly recognisable playing a huge part of musical history, plus thrash metal icon Frank Bello, and if it's intelligent prog-rock you're after, few bands come more recommended than Porcupine Tree.

Looks good, I'll see if I can get someone to go with nearer the time. How many years has this event been running?
