there are at least two threads on it, because almost no one does a search before posting a new thread
and they sometimes get knocked on for bumping an old thread

  11. I rarely make my way in there, I can only look at so many ibanezes. If you ever get the chance, stop into Wonder Records/skateshop in downtown Harrisonburg, guy also sells used gear. Pretty much every guitar I've bought was from there.

Chuck at Hometown told me about Wonder & I've been in there a couple of times. Nice stuff, but kind of pricey.
I finally bought a Fender Rumble from Hometown, after demoing nearly all the Rumble line several times over various visits, and of course comparing my used Ibanez to their nice new Fenders & Ibanez.

Pawn Emporium is where I've picked up a few things, and they have a branch down here in Staunton.

re: skate shop, coincidentally my friends I used to skate in that parking deck next to Wonder
there was one dance club for teens on Court Square back then, but all the shenanigans in the alleyways around there got the place shut down
I myself got... ooop can't talk about it here

  14. Ah, Staunton. I've played a couple shows down there at Bricks, its a nice little town, not much of a music scene though from what I've gathered. I do bring my DB down there to Fretwell Bass though, so that is nice to have nearby.

    That's an understatement, LOL!
It's a small world, though. So, I know a lot of them.

Just yesterday I bumped into a bass player for a local band while getting my oil changed. We've got similar backgrounds so had a lot to talk about.
