Thanks! I told my wife that it could be worse... I could've got a Harley and joined an outlaw MC like my father did!
Now just relax...and turn off the 80's hair metal...we can round off the end of that headstock with a sander no problem....everything's gonna be ok.
No a Berg 112 or 210 in the front seat, a TH500 and pedalboard, mic stand, music stand in trunk, Fender P or EUB in the front.
I'm 63 and I don't know anybody 126 years old, so I'm not having a midlife crisis when I say that is one flippin cool bass !
————————————- I’m not really a fan of Jackson basses, but even I think the black and white one is cool looking for that particular model… Wasn’t quite what I was expecting when I played one in GC a few weeks back, but I could tell it was definitely a quality instrument (God help me if ESP/LTD makes something similar)… If you were having an actual mid life crisis you would be shelling out for an actual Ric vs something that’s abt $1400 less expensive that has a similar throwback vibe… Also-If you were having a mid life crisis I’m pretty sure others on this site could relate (said the pot to the kettle)… Ain’t nothing wrong with dropping some coin on something you don’t technically “need” if you can afford it and it makes you happy… Enjoy if you take the plunge… Thanks! \m/
Apparently it is too. All my life I've been a P-bass copy and I've always wanted to be a Rick! I was going to voice my opinion about the Rickness of it, but then I remembered that can get you banned here. Because Ricks need protecting.
I played one a few months ago at guitar center and I actually liked it a lot. I’m very particular about body edges in my old age though and it just wasn’t exactly right. I would be all over it other than that. I think they are cool.
if you are asking the question, then yes, you are having a midlife crisis. The subject is of no importance. Sorry…
I've never driven anything that is so quick in the wet yet feels so composed and secure even hard on the power.
