I love the design and the woods; wolfe, these basses of yours are always so killer! Can't wait to see it done and the potential awesomeness that is the 3rd creation.
thats looking awesome wolfe. the figuring of the top goes sooo well with the curves of the body! Tom P.S. where are the other 3 pics......?
The top has an awesome flame that goes the opposite way of the other figure... you can sort of see it here. when it has its finish it should be killer...
just saw the other pics. and is it me, or is the neck on that really really thin. and how thick is the body, in the last pic it looks HUGE? Tom
Wow you are very lucky to have such a nice bass, not too many fretless maple fingerboard basses out their.
You are only seeing the neck, the fretboard will go on top of that which will add a good bit of thickness. Not to mention its a shortscale with a thin neck...
Is that just the centerline DRAWN down the middle of the fretboard for layout purposes, or is it actually a split in the wood? Peace Nick
i come to check back on the thread and nothings happend!! i've been waiting for a headstock pic, and i can safely say it didn't dissapoint! can't wait for the next update Tom
Yeah.. in the previous weeks not much new... cna barely wait to see thebass completed. But, that previous one looks even better to me! That one is simply gorgeous! Amazing! You sure are lucky to be able to play these!
Do you check this site? http://www.clarkandcompany.cc/Bass2.html It has a headstock pic, I just dont post all the pics here... He is finishing up a bass right now and I told him to finish it first... it should be on this board soon, so look for it... ...it is a fellow tb'er but thats all I can say. Heres the rough headstock... I am having som strange but cool inlays done on the back of the neck which are a bit tedious but will act as fret markers of sorts.
sorry, i didn't mean nothings happend with you. i meant you posted an update on the 3rd. and no one had commented on it. Tom
