Danelectro?

    I was looking at Danelectro basses...although not made anymore, I saw one at a music store used and I found a place online that still has them. So what's the word on Danelectro as far as basses go? Good? Bad?

    They're an acquired taste to some... I love my Longhorn! Great sound and action... Not as versatile as some basses, but what I use it for, it does extremely well... I really like the fact that it is built cheaply and is totally unapologetic about it!!

    The DC's are nice, as well as the Hodad, which is a bit harder to come across... I was never much of a fan on the Rumor's looks, but it sounded solid... YMMV

    Love my Dano Hodad. It's my punk bass. I really love it for playing fast picked lines. Also is very lightweight.

    Yeah I was looking at the DC...but that Hodad sure does look nice :) . If I found either model I would definately try it out and most likely buy...but they aren't too easy to come across :meh:
