Who is your favorite talk radio host? I am a Mike Savage guy, myself. EDIT: I meant shows that are politically oriented... not just shows in general.
Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly sure, alot of people hate them (especially bill) but I'm a fan of both. Too bad I have school and usually miss them
I hate talk radio. NPR is fine, but any commercial station with talk radio is garbage. ----> IMO. <----
whatever happened to Art Bell? Curtis & Kuby is my favorite. It is local here in NY. Right & Left duke it out every morning....
Oh BTW Blisshead I wasn't laughing at you. I'm lauaghing at NPR their news reporting is a Joke. Tilted WAAAAAY to the left. At least when Rush Limbaugh comes on he tells you he's giving right wing conservative opinion. NPR's left spin is presented as hard news.
The aliens got him! The show is still on but some woman does it now. I think it's just call coast to coast or something. Very entertaining on the late night drive home from gigs. Art Bell used to have a web page. haven't been to it in awhile. There might be some info on what he's doing there.
Because I stated my opinion??? I think I did in in a very middle of the road non-offensive way. Rush is on the right NPR is on the left. Pretty common knowledge I think.
Phil Hendry! I like comedy. Besides, once you've heard one conservative bootlick, you've heard 'em all!
Art Bell..what a kook. One of the few times I've listened to him he had Uri Geller on. He was talking to him as if Geller really does have psychic powers. I can't believe people still even bat an eye at that crackpot (Geller) after Johnny Carson revealed him for the fraud that he is on national television. Anyway...that told me all I needed to know about Art Bell. brad cook
There's a big difference between "Talk Radio" and NPR though - on Talk Radio, the "reporters" are editorializing as they report, which swings everything to the right, even to the point where the "reporters" actively mock any opposing viewpoints. On NPR news (as opposed to their feature programs, which do not claim to be unbiased "news" per se), the reporters only report the news. The slant comes not from the reporters themselves, but from the people that they interview. In my opinion, this is a big difference.
This is why I usually stay away from "off topic" here. Too many thin skinned people. that would be where my participation in this thread is.
