Double Bass Headway EDM1 vs Fishman Platinum Stage

Has anyone compared these two? I have the Fishman and mostly like the sound, but I'm finding the hpf to be limited and not super crazy about the eq. How much gain does the Headway have? I sometimes will use a power amp that needs decent signal boost to the input and have heard there isn't a lot of gain from the EDM1. I'm looking for something small and battery powered so not looking at the larger units.

It has 20db of gain. The variable HPF goes from 40-300. I have not used the Fishman but I love the EDM1.

Yeah that variable hpf would nice to have. I know you use the red eye too. Do you use them together or is the RE unnecessary with the EDM1?

I've used the Headway EDB-1 and the Fishman. I prefer the Headway, but that might just be because I'm more familiar with it.

I have not tried using them together actually. I use the Red Eye for the Yamahiko or Vic's, and I use the Headway for the Stat B or for basses on the road with various pickups where I need EQ.
