It sounds amazing. I have owned about three or four Hohner "Professional" basses in the past and liked them all.

The Pbass tone is EXACTLY like what you'd expect. With the high quality pickups (nearly silent, growly !) and the solid alder body with the maple / rosewood neck, you can't go wrong. It sounds like James Jamerson if you put flats on it, and with rounds, it sounds like Pink Floyd's Roger Waters.

In short, you'll love this bass. I'll throw on a brand new set of strings, too.
