This is a rare bird, Jaydee S2 Session from early/mid 80s, no serial number as it was supposedly made by John Diggins ( JD, get it? ) for a friend, with different upgrades. It has a mahogany body core, with Walnut top and back, center is maple/walnut, neck is mahogany/walnut/maple with ebony fretboard, MOP inlays, brass hardware, head lamination with binding. It also has fiber optic side positions than are red when in active mode and green when passive. first 2 positions are a little tame compared the rest but in a dark environment you can see them well. It's in very good conditions considering its age, some signs of satin finish wearing off the back, frets are great with little wear, truss rod works smooth in both directions. Pickups were replaced with a pair of 2008 humbuckers SN2000, made of course by John at the factory, which are the pickups currently mounted on all new JDs. Am I forgetting something? Ask questions, I'll reply with the best of my knowledge. Ships with a 5 Star full flight case, probably original, so shipping will be expensive and on me (keep that in mind) Ideally I'm looking for a trade plus cash, possibly only 4 strings, with some exceptions if I really like it, and no amps/cabinets.
Not on hold anymore, it's hard to trade with people you don't have enough trust of, not taking chances. So bottom line, STILL AVAILABLE.
hi sleepwalker, what is yr selling price with no trade? and if with trade: any particular 4 string bass you are interested in? bassed regards! willem
