This was a bit of a labor of love and a painstaking overly thought-out research process to get EXACTLY what I wanted in a jazz bass. Turns out no one makes exactly what I want. How do we remedy that? Nice. I'm a fan of the "murdered out" look. Here's my Mustang LE PJ. It has a great P bass sound. I use nylon tapewound strings for tone. Since that picture was taken I've reinstalled the OEM knobs and I'm still looking for a black control plate for it.
