Pretty excited about this, it's an Ampeg B410 combo.
They were only made between 1973-1979.
There's not much info out there but here's what I know:
It's a two channel, 120 watt SS amp. Sealed, infinite baffle with four, 10" Altec speakers.
    It's super loud.

Looks kind of like the new Ba series combos.

    It sure does.
It's a little overkill for an at home practice amp, but who cares?

I got nothing for the dude ;) That's one I've never tried, but I'll take his word for it that it's a killer.

Owned one in High School in the 70's. I have no fond memories of it.

Maybe yours didn't have the Altec speakers ;)

I bought one new in the summer of 1977. Big Barry's Music, on Kings Highway in Brooklyn. I called every music store in the city, looking for one. Why? Because I remembered seeing Anthony Jackson use one with Buddy Rich... a couple of or maybe three years earlier. I got to speak to him after the gig.. I asked him what kind of 18 was in that cabinet. When he told me it was four tens, I was floored.. and also by his killer playing. When I needed a smaller gigging amp for my Manhattan gigs, I thought it was a sensible idea to get it. I remember it costing somewhere around 500 bucks. Big Barry said he had one in stock.. probably laying around in the stock room with no one interested! So, I took the subway from Woodside (The home of Ampeg) to Brooklyn... and a cab back to Queens with the sealed box, amp inside. Big Barry was really happy to get rid of it. He even bought me pizza for lunch! It was a really decent sounding amp. Three issues, it was heavy, and the combo issue- sometimes, it just wasn't enough. I do not know if mine had Altecs.... I don't think so. But, I never did open it up. I traded it straight across for a nearly new SVT cabinet. The biggest issue- was when I'd use just one effect- my MXR Phase 90, it would blow the input stage of the amp! I remember taking just the amp section to Andre' Audio to repair it, like twice. That's a deal breaker.
