I don't own one, but I like Sadowsky's Shore Line Gold finish Here's a Satin Series Verdine White 5-string Another Satin Series Vintage 4
Just found this beauty. Had to have it. It’s a CS ‘66. It was meant to be. I had this Gold Glass Sparkle p/g sitting in storage for the last coupla years just waiting for this bass. I’m pretty stoked about this one. She plays beautifully.
My first "real" bass was a custom order Left Handed G&L SB1 that was metal flake gold with a white mother of pearl pick-guard and rosewood board. Got it in Memphis around 1997. Had for several years and then ended up selling it to a pawnshop in Austin, TX. Thats the one that got away that I'd love to get back.
Not mine but a really really funky band that has 2 bassists that plays every year at the NYC Marathon that I have seen every year since 2014 had this one that I liked so much I had to take a pic.
It's an 1982 J with gold hw that was not in their catalog then - it had a Fender high-mass bridge (their first) and it originally had creme Strat-knobs to match the pu covers. I've seen a local band that has two bass players - one covers the lows/roots and the other occupies the mid/highs/chords.
Came across this new Schecter gold top Corsair with active electronics the other day. I think it’s just simply elegant.
I don't know how I missed this thread but here's a photo of my G&L L1000 in Pharaoh Gold. I picked it up about 15 months ago. I also included my gold top Les Paul Tribute. I know this was supposed to be just basses but it is gold and it is a Les Paul (granted the cheapest in the line).
