On a funny side note James i started a thread with the same topic subject at the same time you did. I just deleted it so we can focus on this one.
If anyone doesn't know yet Richard Pryor died of a heart attack earlier today.

    This breaks my heart.
As a person who teaches about race relations, I have long felt that Richard is my inspiration. He taught us how important humor is in teaching us all about ourselves, our limitations and possibilities.
    Thank you, dear man.

He kicked open the door for alot of other people. Comedy would not be the same today without him.
    RIP.

Oh man this sucks!! I love Pryor! Him and Gene Wilder were like my heroes growing up. All those movies they did together, they were (and still are) some of my all-time favorites.
He was one of those revolutionary comedians, he did so much for it. You just know there's gonna be a big hullabaloo about this (and much deserved, the man's a legend).
    RIP Richard.

  11. This really sucks, such a great comedian. He broke boundaries and reinvented comedy. He'll be missed greatly. In memory of him...

Every comic that makes a living doing "adult comedy" better have their arses at that memorial!

my wife just told me the news. :( That's sad I really like Richard Pryor. Check out his TV show that is out on DVD I have it. The stuff they could get away with back then is just amazing.
