Ooh, is that the blizzard pearl P Special? That's the color I wanted, but when I found mine it was too good a deal to pass up. Besides, it got me into the Black 'n Maple Club
Count me in. I'll post pics once my Macbook gets serviced. 04" MIM Fender P-Bass with BA II bridge and some Seymour Duncan Qtr. Pounders.
Just got this through E-Bay yesterday. This is the sellers photo. I haven't taken one yet. Listed as Electron blue allthough it looks more like a dark purple. 1998-1999 and hardly looks used at all. A couple nics here and there but everything is straight and works perfectly. I'll yake some better photos and maybe then I'll get a number.
Seems like this thread could use a "bump." Here is my 60th anniversary MIM. Still stock,....Blizzard Pearl, MIA standard pickup, vintage tinted neck. All Precision and nothing but Precision
I love that bridge! Thought of a BAII, but that looks more like the ones on the new MIA's! (The blizzard and maple is sweet, huh?)
i've got a '94 MIM P on layaway at the local pawnshop...once i get it out next month i'll post 'er up! it's sunburst w/ red tortshell
Good to see the club! Here is my P-Bass: 2000-2001 MIM Precision Bass. Upgraded Fender white pearloid pickguard. Chrome-knurled knobs. Considering Seymour Duncan Basslines 3 quarter-pound pickups. My first bass as a convert from guitar. Love it! Slackerprince
Here, folks is my MIM P. It's an 04 Deluxe P Special. I believe this was the year before this model went active, unfortunately for me. Don't know if I'll have this bass forever, but it definately is getting the love it deserves!
Kind of better pics, lol. Regular lighting it looks purple, with massive flash, it's blue again. I hate this camera....
That's a lovely bass! I actually think i'm going to be picking up a bass almost exactly like that on the 10th. I'm pretty excited. =) It has DiMarzio pups and a Badass II Bridge. Thinking about getting a chrome pup cover for it.
my new MIM P bass. Had it about 2 weeks now I put the 2nd pic in there to hopefully get some advice on action(sorry its not the best pic). Does that action look too high too low or pretty good? I get a little fret buzz here and there and dont want to put the action higher if its already high enough. cheers.
Valerus: Your black P Bass has a replacement neck but how did you get the Fender label on the headstock? I'm asking because I am thinking of replacing my MIM P Bass's neck with a Jazz neck as well and I'd like to keep the label.
