I have a Warwick Corvette $$ 4 string bass made in Germany I think 2008. Ash body, bolt on neck, active MEC pickups, non-gloss Nirvana Black with the massive extra heavy duty flight case in great condition. I rarely have used it and I probably paid way too much for it. Can someone give me an estimate of what I could probably get for it? Thanx all.

No I do not have it listed anywhere. If someone offered me $900 I'd sell it even though I'd be taking a beating on it.

Sorry not interested in the Hagstrom but could be open to other trades such as a Rick or Gibson SG Standard bass.

I have picked up a few of these for under $700. Streamers can be had for even less if you keep your eyes peeled. Great basses for the $$ IMO.

The 5-string versions seem so much harder to find, though, unfortunately :(

I bought mine for $800. Some minor wear on the body, but that was it.

I am in CT. Anyone want it for $700? I'll post pics if someone wants them. With the flight case, too much to ship.

It is kinda funny that a bass that was $2300 new could only get $700 today. Seems like certain basses
go up in value (ex. 1982 Fender Jazz 62 reissue) and some lose 50% of their new value the next day.
For example a 1974 Jazz Bass I bought new for $279 can fetch as much as $4000 nowadays.

I picked this exact same bass up used at GC for under $700, couldn't believe it. I still don't really get it. The bass sounds awesome, not really a "warwick" tone though. I can understand that it wouldn't be someone's cup of tea.

I have had a similar question about the Corvette $$NT Bubinga. This version has the layered 3 piece maple neck through design with the beautiful bubinga body wings. What do you think a truly "mint" 4 string version of this would realistically command in the used market today?

Those are great basses and a 4 string new will today fetch about 3K. What it's worth and what you can sell it for obviously vary. Me personally if it was in great condition I would start at $1,500 to $1,700 and see what happens..
