Well, I'm not a club member, but here are some "back in the day" shots of two different bands I was in with female singers.

This first band is the late 80's (as if you can't tell from the pics):

This was a singer songwriter I played with in the 90's:

 

A lot of us had hair like that back in the 80s

 

Both are singers and guitarists. One writes punk inspired music, the other writes more new-wave, ballad, and heavy rock-inspired music. Both attract the audience ...the whole audience. Enough said.

There is something just purely awesome about that set. So, dunno, grungy and raw. Love it!

Plus it features a lady singer with a fedora. I think I'm starting to love girls with fedoras big time! (maybe 'cause I'm starting to wear fedoras regularly myself).

 

I've played keys for some 25 years, on and off, but never in a band, save for the occasional get together with 1 or 2 friends. After taking up bass last year, I'm in an amateur band, and we got offered our first paid gig (it's in 3 weeks, wish us luck), so we took our first shot for some posters this weekend, and here's our "singerbabe".

 

I play in a blues band with this amazing singer, Andrina Turenne:

We haven't gigged steadily for a few years, but we do 1-2 gigs a year.

Her main band these days is Chic Gamine, who you can find here:

Don't have any gig pics in this PC here but you get the idea. I've been playing with her band for the last 6 months. Sweetest rebel girl I've met! Great voice and stage presence too.

It is an odd point of pride that several of my 50+ bands still have hair.
