For Sale or Trade - Dingwall NG2 5-String w/ Upgraded Payson Bridge and Canadian Knobs. Metallic Black -Excellent Condition. Includes an Ibanez MRB500C Hardshell Case in great condition that fits the bass like a glove.
$2600 plus $100 to split fully insured shipping cost.
I had the Payson Bridge and Canadian Knobs professionally installed by my Luthier of 20+ years. He also did and amazing setup on the bass. Original Hardware (Bridge & Knobs) included if for some reason you want to make the bass stock again. The bass plays great and sounds amazing. The bass was well cared for and is in amazing condition. No Dings, scratches or scuffs except for light scratches on the neck pickup (see photos).
Upgrade costs: MRB500C Hardshell Case = $300 / Payson Bridge = $250 / Dingwall Canadian Knobs(X5) = $125. Plus, the professional install of the bridge & knobs and setup was $85.
I have two Dingwall 5-strings, this NG2 and an NG3 (both listed for sale). These basses are pigeon-holed as strictly metal basses, but they excelled in all genres in my former multi-genre band that played country, pop, alternative and metal.
The only reason that I am selling this bass is because I am looking to try purchase another Pedulla (hence my name Pedulla-Player). I had to sell my old 93' Thunderbass that I played for 20+ years due to a mass layoff at the factory that I worked at. I wasn't in a band at the time, and I had a family to support (wife and 2 young daughters), so sacrifices had to be made. I've missed it ever since. I may also consider a Roscoe or an Elrick because I've always been curious to try those basses.
**NOTE - A bass came up that I don't want to miss out on, so I have both of my Dingwall's listed and I will keep the one that doesn't sell.
Trades considered = 5-strings w/ 18mm or 19mm String Spacing - Plus cash for the right bass:
*Preferred = Pedulla Thunderbass
2nd preference = Pedulla Thunderbolt or MVP.
Possibly considered = Roscoe LG or SKB, Elrick E-volution Gold
CONUS buyers only.
Payment = Paypal or Cash if you are within a couple hundred miles of Northcentral Wisconsin. I would drive a couple of hours for a meetup at a decided upon high traffic area.
