This is gorgeous excellent plus condition MTD 635-24.
I listed it in times past but just couldn't follow through with it. It is just that nice of an instrument. As stated in my previous ad, I went through two other very nice MTD's to get to this one. A 535 and Super nice Norm Stockton signature model. Again this simply slayed them both. Overtime like many of you here on TB I've owned MANY boutique bass guitars. Get up in years and grateful to have been alloted the many great experiences. Nevertheless I've always said I did not want to be a collector I only want what I use. That has boiled down to my Fodera Monarch 5 custom of which actual took a back seat to the this MTD for a few years. When it comes down to it the reality is I am simply not using the high C. The Monarch is a 33" scale which also is a little easier to get around on. That being said I am ask $5,200 with buyer to pay actual shipping. Hard to believe I am actually doing this!!
Well...here goes.
The body is ash with a crotch walnut top.
The neck is ash with a birds-eye maple fingerboard.
This bass is 35" scale with 24 frets.
The string spacing is 18mm.
The neck and body are hand finished with an epoxy base coat and catalyzed urethane topcoat.
Weight: 10 lbs (according to my bathroom scale)
