Yamaha BB1024 in vintage white needs new home. I love this bass, but am no longer playing it and it deserves to be played. I've owned it since I bought it here in roughly 2014, and it has lived in a no smoking / no pets situation, in its case in a non-extreme climate environment (ie, the house, not the garage) or occasionally hung on wall when not played.
Pro setup last summer I believe, with fairly low but not ultra low action. New strings at that time, too; pretty sure LaBella Deep Talkin' Bass flats. Schaller straplocks included, but no strap or case / gig bag. Bass is 10lb on the bathroom scale.
Everything works as it should, except the player, and that's why this bass needs a new one.
Photos do not show the light surface buckle rash but do show the body finish flaws. There is an additional similar small flaw in another location - the photo corrupted and I can't open it. If a serious buyer needs additional specific photos, I will be happy to provide them. Please note that this is not a new instrument and I am not selling it as 'mint.' There may be small flaws that I've never noticed because a) they don't matter to me or b) it has been taken out into the real world and played, not kept in bubble wrap.
FedEx Ground CONUS shipping is included at the asking price, but I would much, much, much rather not ship this and instead meet you somewhere between Bellingham and Eugene (or similar distance), and knock something off the price. If you have your own shipping account (with FedEx or a different carrier), we can work something out. I have a shipping box and will pack to the best of my ability, and insure to the purchase price. Due to my work schedule and distance from a trustworthy shipping site, I may not be able to ship same day or next day, but will absolutely communicate with you via text as to what's happening when.
