Details

I'm going to assume that you're familiar with the Warwick Thumb. This is in great condition and has that nice Warwick growl. It was recently set-up by my luthier, Joseph Jesselli, where he gave it the full treatment; he even sanded and burnished the neck so the neck feel great and smooth! It has Dean Markley Helix HD SS Strings on it right now.

I love the tone of this bass but unfortunately it hasn't been getting much play time.

Specs:
2005 Thumb BO:
Made in Germany
Body: Ovangkol
Neck: Ovangkol
Fretboard: Wenge
Black hardware
Active with the push/pull option on the volume knob.
Extremely clean bass, just has some paint wear on the knobs from previous owner.

$1350 Paypal
This is a true german Warwick and it will ship with it's Warwick Rockbag, fully insured, well packaged, etc.
I will entertain trade offers as well as trades+cash, mostly looking at Spectors and Warwick Streamers but feel free to make an offer!

Local pickup in Long Island for a lower price!

What you don't find anymore are the wenge necks. You can still get wenge fretboards, but not the full wenge neck.

Warwick started doing wenge necks again in 2013, I have a new streamer SS2 5 wenge neck, its like 1989 warwick made with 2014 technology!

The different wood necks are shaped differently too IIRC. As oaklandthumb said the wenge necks are back, I believe there was a wenge shortage but now it's back and Warwick has started using wenge again due to the increased availability.

Used to be one of my Wicks! It's and awesome bass and plays just as great as a Warwick should. This is an awesome guy to deal with. And his packaging skills are as if he worked a packing shop.

Thanks man! It's a great wick, and after the neck refinishing and setup by my luthier it's even greater ;)
