Details

For sale is the first Torzal Jazz Bass ever built! I worked with Jerome Little on this in 2010 and he built an AMAZING instrument. It has an ash body, rosewood fretboard, Hipshot hardware, vintage frets and Aero dual coil humbucking pickups (outdoor photos show original Nordstrand NJ4s) Feel free to ask any questions. Not sure on exact weight but she's light and balances perfectly. Custom molded ProTec hard/soft case included.

Will consider trades, if you have one please feel free to run it by me. Would love to find a fretted Gary Willis, also interested in weighted key keyboard, electric drum set, and Micro VR stack. Let me know!

Here are a few more photos with the case and an attempt to show the twist. Can't believe there isn't much interest!!! This bass is stellar.

That is a sweet looking bass. I would love to try one of these out, but I have never seen one in real life!

I hadn't either when I ordered this, but had faith in Jerome and his vision & craftsmanship. I was not disappointed!!! It's very easy to get used to the twist of the neck, it is quite subtle and perfectly designed. It wasn't long before I didn't even notice it any longer, SUPER comfortable.

Seriously, are we not doing phrasing anymore?

As a very satisfied torzal owner, I can vouch for the quality. Jerome Little is the real deal. I have no doubt this is an absolutely top notch bass.

Don't be hesitant about the twist, it is totally natural, and becomes second nature VERY quickly. These are a blessing for those with any sort of wrist issues, but are very comfortable for anyone.

GLWS. Whoever gets this one will not be disappointed.

FYI: if you have questions, Jerome is very happy to answer anything, and responds quickly.

I've known Jerome since the early 2000's, and I have a J-bird and, believe it or not, the 5 string version of this bass that I'm pretty sure he built at the same time.
Jerome is a bass player, and the attention to detail on his insturments is nothing short of amazing.
The basses Jerome builds are masterpieces, but, meant to be played! I'm kinda curious why you're selling?
I can assure anyone that purchases this bass will never be disappointed in it! If I didn't already have two of Jerome's creations, I would seriously consider this one!

Beautiful build. I betcha it's very comfortable & natural-feeling to play. I wonder if any builders out there have tried a fanned-fret version of one of these? GLWTS

Not sure about other builders but Jerome has done fanned fret torzals. He's a genius. Check the gallery link in the first post.

So I’m not trippin! I was looking at that picture confused. What’s the benefit of doing that?

I have this bass's straight-necked doppelgänger in the same color - I based if off pics of this bass. Jerome builds wonderful instruments.

Wow, what an awesome idea! Never heard of this before. Passive setup with volume/volume/tone? Cheese jokes aside I’m thinking along the lines of @Liam Wald ...what if this thing started to twist more. Even just a hair of twist would probably affect things drastically. Maybe I’m just paranoid because I’ve never seen this design and I’m thinking of what could go wrong haha. Gorgeous bass.
