Lakland 44-02 Made in Korea Skyline up for grabs. I’ll kick myself later for letting this one go. It only weighs 7.8 lbs on my bathroom scale! It’s in excellent condition and sounds absolutely incredible! It has the best neck I’ve ever played! Setup with nice, comfy, low action. I LOVE this bass! I’m just inherently a p bass guy. Trades considered. Asking $1200 shipped paypal conus.IMG_8511.jpegIMG_8512.jpegIMG_8513.jpegIMG_8516.jpegIMG_8515.jpegIMG_8514.jpeg

What are the neck specs: nut and radius?

That's incredibly light. How does it balance? Any neck dive?
With the wide padded leather straps I normally use, there is no dive. I threw it on a cheap nylon strap to see if that made a difference. It did drop slightly from the angle I normally play at, but it was still well balanced and easily playable. It probably only dropped an inch or so with the cheap nylon strap. In my opinion, that’s about as good as it gets. The neck definitely does not dive anywhere close to going below the body or anything drastic.

Nice! This seems to be one of those few transition basses where the pickups are Lakland but the pre is still Bartolini. Can you open the back cavity and take a picture?

How accurate is the weight?
Bathroom scale is kind of sketchy.
Can you get a more accurate weight?

Sketchy? I’m pretty sure it’s a common tb method. I’ve seen it mentioned often. It’s also the only scale I have. What would you suggest?

Just a silly obvious question, but it might set Type-55's mind at ease

I am presuming you did multiple weigh-ins and picked the best "two out of three", so to speak? Just my two cents worth.

I’ll weigh again tomorrow. I did do multiple weighs, and I believe it came out the same every time. It is a newer digital and fairly expensive bathroom scale if that makes a difference.

Most bathroom scales are not that exact. Go to a fed ex or ups store and have them weigh it. It should be more accurate than a bathroom scale. Jau my humble opinion.
