Upon taking delivery of the instrument buyer claimed, "the neck on this bass is bowed pretty bad". He also claimed, "I feel the description should have detailed the issues this bass has more accurately." Later claimed the bass was, "nearly unplayable."
When I received the bass back from the buyer the truss rod was so tight there was a back bow in the neck that was corrected when the rod was loosened. Bass set up again and plays great with NO bow in the neck.
I immediately agreed when the buyer told me his description of the problems he encountered for the instrument to be returned. After receiving the bass back with no issues with the neck or ease of playing, I asked for my shipping cost to be credited back. I didn't not find the issue that was described by the buyer in which I agreed to the return on the bass. The buyer refused and I refunded the whole amount paid for the bass.
I'm leaving negative feedback because after explaining and sending pictures to the buyer of the bass in good working order, that he knowingly or not was mistaken with his claim for the return. I also didn't believe I was responsible for paying the shipping cost only for the bass to be returned from an unsubstantiated claim.
