Eric, I got these today and put them on my #3 bass. They sound and play great. Just a small point: These are copper wound, not silver. I don't really care, but someone might.

estringjamey is a working musician in the Kansas City area. He is also a luthier who worked previously for KC Strings, a highly-regarded viol shop. Jamey has a house full of violins, violas, cellos, and basses. I had occasion to visit his house/shop and took a bass on approval - not a trivial thing, as I live 240 miles away in St. Louis. I ended up bringing the bass back and Jamey was very cool with it. Good guy!
