I just installed my 32" conversion neck. It's great! Other than being easier to play because of the shorter scale, it also solved some other problems that weren't obvious to me at first. The 34" bass body has more wood up under the right wrist which allows me to relax my shoulder and arm muscles and use my wrist as a point of reference while shifting across strings. I have a couple of short and medium scale basses that end up being uncomfortable and more difficult to play because my right arm is always up in the air. Also, the Lowe's neck while expensive is a whole lot less than a new 32" bass and is very nice to play.
