I wanted him to make me some video or audio of the bass plugged in as I hadn't ever seen or played an Atelier before. He did so with no complaints, making 2 videos for me. He is a slap player and I am a finger player. He demo'd the bass in finger style AND slap for me. I can't slap... but I need to learn now. He set this bass up great for it. Best sounding slap bass I have ever heard. The product was well taken care of, the shipping was fast, and he was very understanding when my Paypal account went on the fritz and got locked for a couple of days. I would definitely buy/sell with this guy again. He's a shining example of how great the TalkBass community can be.

The packing was Glass Baby level packing. 2 boxes, both filled with nuts and crazy space age tubes going every which way. I think they call them pipes, you should get some. The bass was tuned down and wrapped with 2 layers of bubble wrap before entering the 2 caves of cardboard and peanuts. Great packing. It was needed and thoughtful. The outside box was crushed it looked like, which would have meant the awesome Carvin he made would be have been toast I'm sure if it had not been for his foresight.
