Had to go neutral on this one because I didn't want to completely ruin any future chances for you out here. But seriously... I feel there is absolutely no possible way that you didn't realize that Guitar Center (as you claimed installed the p'ups) had poked a hole through the back of your limited-run $1,000 bass, and almost poked another one through that started to break the paint. A "scratch" is a scratch. A hole through the body and through the paint on a one-of-166 Fender bass is a different animal entirely. You would have inspected the instrument as soon as you noticed a mark at all on the back that wasn't there prior to GC's work on it. And you would have realized that it wasn't just a scratch.
Coupled with the fact that the pickups were still not even installed correctly and floated up and down and side to side with any normal playing at all, to the point of actually changing volume and tone, I really debated the neutral rating as opposed to a negative one. However, since you packed it well, included all the case candy, and haven't gotten any previous feedback, you get the N rating.
Full disclosure in the future with anybody and anything that you sell out here (or anywhere, for that matter) can only lead back around to good karma. And karma exists as much as any other accepted reality, in my opinion based on life so far.
Take care
