Buyer claimed 9v battery didn’t work on the pedal I sold him, offered to repair it for a $40 discount. I paid for return shipping - he shipped back the pedal in larger size flat rate package than originally sent, and new 9v battery works on the unit fine. Sent him a video of it working fine with a new battery and same gut shots he sent me. I refunded him in full, and I ate cost of return shipping/larger packaging used.

The pedal did not work for me with a battery, I sent a pic of the heavily corroded terminal and a link to the new battery box which actually cost 20 dollars and a suggested a tech would fix it for 20 dollars hence the request for the refund, but it was requested to send it back which worked out. I also offered to pay the balance of the shipping. Im glad it worked for you but it is intermittent and that battery box is clearly a issue. In the end its not the deal we wanted but we got through it.

For sure, good reminder for sellers to double check and take a video of their gear before shipping. I took care of the additional fees, hopefully you can pay it forward.
