I eventually got what I ordered, only after Emanuel turned an easily solved problem on his end into a giant cluster f. Worst experience I've ever had on TB or TGP other than getting outright ripped off.

yeah that’s on me. In my defense the fires and the mudslides that followed affected some extended family and a number of friends and associates so I was helping where I could. Of lesser importance it turned my commute (Point Dune) upside down, leaving for work before sunrise and getting home well after dark exhausted. It’s surreal up there. It really put things in perspective. I’m in South Central about as far from the Palisades as you can get so I wasn’t directly affected but wow places I’d frequent after surfing Topanga or Malibu point places that have been there since I was a kid are just gone. Some areas burned right to the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Yeah kinda makes the smaller inconveniences people get so up in arms about seem downright silly.
