i sent a message at 1:49pm giving you my paypal.. another message at 4:28 pm saying i had another offer and for you to pull the trigger if you wanted it. No contact from you at 6:11pm, so i sold it to the person who paid for it when they asked me for my paypal and sent you a message saying i did so. You finally respond at 8:30 saying i wasn't fair. I don't care about the negative feedback but I think i did my best to reach out to you and give you a chance to buy it. I did not pull the sale, and i did warn you, so false on both accounts.
The seller is not incorrect in some of his assertions above but it is hardly "false on both accounts." That said, he did literally exclaim there was "no pressure" to respond and then sold the unit hours later; even after I had said I wanted it and asked for Paypal info to pay full asking price.
It is a lesson learned for this buyer to not assume a seller's tone in responding - and my willingness to agree to the proposed terms - assures a mutual interest to transact.
I gave you 5 hours to complete the transaction. I asked you to complete the transaction. You did not. "no pressure" means that i didn't want you to buy if you were on the fence, which you appeared to be because you hadn't paid (i was being empathetic). I sold to someone who actually approached me and responded in a way i am used to here on talkbass - ask for paypal and then pay (there has never been a delay between those two steps as long as I have been a member unless qualified with "hey i need a few days to come up with cash"). No such qualification from you about needing time to get funds. I would expect the same treatment as a buyer from anyone here, there can always be multiple offers. I am sorry you feel slighted by this and sorry to be involved in this situation. Please don't pretend you are going to make an example of me by giving me a negative - i don't care.
Worked with Greg on purchasing a used ip112 combo. Couldn't have been an easier exchange or transaction. Amp was delivered on time and in the condition described.
