I just bought a beautiful Candy Apple Red Professional Jazz Bass from cutter8, and I have to say, this exemplifies what TalkBass is all about. The bass is in superb shape, as Rick promised, and has wonderful flats on it. Beyond that, this is not just another transaction as you would have on other sites. Rick is quite busy with work but took time to share some of his expertise on strings and picks and his thoughts on great bass brands. He is quick to say he hasn't played bass for that many years, but in his quest for the best basses he has bought and sold dozens.
