Worked with me to resolve a financing glitch (entirely my issue, not the seller's). Shipped promptly, well packaged, exactly as represented in the For Sale thread. @AlexMG is yet another reason why I like buying gear on the TB Classifieds.

I've bought some gear on Talkbass before, but never an instrument. I confess I was a little nervous spending so much money on something that could end up damaged in transit or simply not as good as I expected.

Now I'm very happy! The bass was advertised as "near-mint condition." I've seen basses in stores being sold as "new" that weren't this nice. It shipped in its case, inside a cardboard box with packing pillows. The box was slightly torn, but the case was untouched as far as I can see.

The amp I bought arrived with no apparent shipping damage but didn't work quite right. A little investigation of the problem suggested that the normal bumps of shipping had triggered the problem.

Lori was on it right away, suggesting a couple different ways to resolve the matter. Since it looked like a minor repair, we agreed on a partial refund that we both thought was fair.

It's easy to keep buyers happy when everything goes right, but it takes a little something extra when there's a problem. Thanks, Lori!
