For sale FS: DP (Dave Pushic) Custom Medium Scale P Bass

I'll post a few pics of my own later today. No trade offers please - I will not respond to them.

Color me interested. What's the nut width? Can you please post pics of the nicks/dents noted in the original post (and whatever others there may be)? Does this nail the P tone? How is bass resonance when acoustic? Harmonics good? How is fret and fretboard condition? Does it have side dot markers on the top edge of the neck/fretboard? And is a 3-piece maple neckthrough, right? Any other problems/imperfections, for example, slots in the nut, things not quite plumb, etc. (Dave's basses have their fans and detractors)? What year was the bass built, if you know? Thanks, DM

Nut width is 1.625". The bass IMO does nail the P tone. For me, I honestly would probably prefer a regular +/_ tone control over the Stellartone control, but that's personal preference. That could be changed in any case. Acoustic resonance and harmonics are good, frets and fretboard are in great shape and there are side dot markers on top edge of neck, which is three-piece maple. I don't know when this was built. The only imperfections I can find are impossible to capture in photos because you can only see them when you are very close and have light reflecting off the bass at a certain angle. These are some wear marks just above the lower string pickup, which must be where someone rested their thumb while playing. The other marks are between the G string and the lower edge of the body, about even with the lower string pickup. These appear to be scratches that do not penetrate the quilt maple but left slight indentations. Like I said, they are impossible to capture in photos and can only be seen if you know they are there and are very close.
