Details

Up for sale is a completely rebuilt OLP MM5

It has been upgreaded with the following: Hipshot USA Tuners, WD Music Man replacement bridge, Nordstrand MM5.2 pickup, SGD 2 band pre-amp, Graphtec nut, bar style string retainer, Dunlop flush mount strap locks, New black machined aluminum control knobs, New Black pick guard. (original tort guard included)

This bass has been one of my main basses for about 6 months. I has that distinct MM growl. The Nordy pickup and SGD pre amp work great together and replicate the Pre-EBMM sound.

I have gone through this bass with a fine toothed comb and have replaced just about every screw, wire you can. The neck is laser straight and the action is very very low.

Frets have been levelled, crowned, dressed and polished. Fret board edges have been rolled for a nice broken in feel and the neck has been re-finished using a proprietary Oil/Poly blend.

The Hardware, Pickup and pre-amp alone cost more than my asking price. You get everything complete, set up and ready to play for less that the cost of the parts. Recently set up with Circle K strings. Less than 20 hours on fresh setup.

I'm willing to sacrifice this for $400 shipped to CONUS. International O.K. for additional shipping charge.

Partial trades considerred:
4 or 5 string Fender necks, bodies, projects.

Thanks for looking

Sorry everyone, I seem to be having trouble replying to PM's.

Mark you were the first to inquire about the bass, but someone offerred to purchase it for the full price right after your first inquiry.

In answer to your question the string spacing is 16mm on these.

BobWestbrook, please send my an e-mail message vs. PM. For some reason my PM's are not going through.

Sorry for the confusion.

Peace.

No worries, wasn't meant to be. Looks sweet, esp. for the price. I've thought about buying a Musicman SUB before, but with all the work on this one it looks a step or two up. 16mm, though, sounds narrower than I'd like to go on a 5 right now. May it and its new owner live long and prosper!
