This is the smaller version of the NS upright bass which has a 34" scale similar to bass guitar length. These are RARELY on here for sale.
This bass has the dual pickup system that NS offers - the internal transducer plus individual magnetic pickups with all sorts of adjustments available. It even has a truss rod just like a bass guitar to zero in on your personal type of fingerboard curvature you want. It has the upright strings on it D'Addario makes, but you can use the cheaper BG ones as well. I've gotten raves and open-mouthed looks from everyone I've used this with.
The bass only weighs about 7 lbs, and in it's gig bag, has fit in every plane overhead compartment I've dealt with. It also comes with the strap system AND the upright endpin, and will be shipped in a hard shell golf case. I'm asking $2100 shipped in the cont. USA. Pics coming soon.
