Allentown, PA!
Got my hands on one at my local GC today. Very nice and to my reckoning is better in fit in finish than MIM Standard Fender. Nice fret work, glossy tinted neck a la the CV Squiers, heavy side weight wise.
Sounds big and ballsy - not to my pleasure really, but still very good - sounds just like the pretty identical Blacktop Precision, which I also thought was good but not to my taste. I could never make friends with the J bridge p/u burpiness, and the bridge p/u on this one is like J bridge 'plus' - not treblier, bigger (which was kinda nice); and here that sorta double Jazz p/u humbucker in the neck position didn't have the clarity in the mids that I prefer.

Still very good sounding and worth the $499 or whatever it was if you like a solid and affordable Fender that sounds like a J bass on steroids.
