Like a lot of others, I'm frustrated by the all the different Fender models, yet the inability to get the configuration and look I want. Primarily passive P with Jazz rosewood block inlay neck. So off to Warmoth I went.
Here's the specs
Alder Body - 5.0 lbs
Maple/Rosewood slim taper neck, graphite reinforced - 1.8 lbs
Hipshot ultra light tuners (with bass extender key) - 10.1 oz
Babicz FCH bridge
Dimarzio DP 122 pups
TOTAL WEIGHT - 8lb 9oz
TOTAL COST - $1150
The options on the neck accounted for almost $300. (painted head, graphite, block inlay, slim taper)
And yes, those are J bass knobs on my P bass
Craftmanship was excellent. No complaints.
Sounds awesome, plays awesome. Onto the next project!
