My second veneering project

This is my second time laminating a bass and so far it looks pretty good I guess. This time I took it a bit further and also laminated the pickups. I am still trying to decide weather I should make wooden knobs or leave the original ones, so I am open for suggestions.

Cool. I have a Lightwave SR-5 bass I bought kinda on a whim ‘cause I was thinking I should get a lighter bass, but I just can’t bond with it because it’s solid red. Well, the body’s kinda small, too, but the red…

The face of the body is flat, and I thought about how the body could be planed and a nice piece of veneer added.
